Sargent apparently just wrote them within the last couple of years. I bet you'd LOVE Roller Girls of Rampur. And I highly recommend the Kashmira Sheth books, too, three of which I've read: Koyal Dark Mango Rich, which is kind of about being colorstruck in modern India; Keeping Corner, which is an amazing historical YAF novel about a young widow during WWI who salvages her life through education and joining the nationalist movement; and Boys with No Names, which is her most recent, about Indian demographics -- farmers in debt moving to the city and their children falling victim to slavery, essentially. Very Slumdog Millionaire without the millionaire part.
