The paperback Folgers editions are the way to go. They were what we were forced to buy in high school and have glosses on every facing page. SADLY, as I discovered, the Kindle Folger editions do not do that -- you have to interrupt yourself and hit a link each time. Fuck that. I love the writing so very, very much. One of the most enjoyable English assignments I ever had in high school was in my Junior year, when we read Macbeth and had to write a new scene for it, following Shakespearean language conventions and (as far as we could get it) meter.
