I never knew how actual "Chai Tea" was made. I guess I just assumed you bought the tea bags and went with it? I remember when I was working at the Video Game Developer Company (gone now - acquired by another company), two of my co-workers laughed at me for calling it "Chai Tea". In a rather thick accent, he told me that it was funny, because in India, Chai means "brewed black tea". So calling it Chai Tea is a redundant.
