Random acts of verbal generosity and also a health update you can ignore.

I helped my sister and nieces put up their Xmas tree this evening, with Xmas music in the background, hot spiced cider mulling on the stove, excitement and impatience and some whininess and some posing for photo opportunities (the latter two are both my elder niece) and late arrival by my brother-in-law, who put up with it all with good grace, since the seasonal stuff is definitely not his cup of tea. It was nice, even if I was dragging.

I have something that feels remarkably like bronchitis, or maybe low-grade pneumonia. It's a cold in my chest, not my head, and it feels like it came on me after I was run down and tired all the time for a long period, and the phlegm in my lungs, which I am not consistently able to cough out, is sweet tasting. You should excuse the TMI, please.

Anyway, it sucks and I hate being tired and draggy and sick and coughing and nauseated and muscle-sore, which symptoms also seem to accompany this. Bleah. I'd rather not think a lot about it, and instead I'm going to go sleep. However, before I do, I am going to repeat this meme, because I kind of like it.

I can't think of anyone reading this who I couldn't do that about, but it is always interesting to me what different (nice) things I think about various of you.
