Days 280, 281, 282
Sep. 2nd, 2012 01:15 amSee, this is what happens when a) school starts, and b) Comcast cuts off my cable (not that I really have cable) and internet because of "signal leakage". I was without the internet (apart from on mobile devices on which I don't enjoy typing) for two whole days.
280: Last movie I watched. I think it was The Bourne Legacy, actually. No, I tell a lie. It was Beasts of the Southern Wild, the title of which most likely referred to the magically and colorfully poor people opting out of an unnamed city similar to New Orleans, beyond the protective levee, and not the mythical "aurochs" which were unfrozen in the Antarctic and magically make their way slowly to this mythical flood plain. It was beautiful and interesting, with some issues, like the exoticization of poverty and so on. But very interesting.
280: someone I would switch lives with for a day. Not really anyone I can think of.
281: Desert island companion and ten items... not inspired by this. I guess if one of the items could be the wireless connectivity (and therefore electricity), M. would be an enjoyable companion. Ten things? Arghh. The aforesaid electricity, shelter, easily collectible food, my iPad, sufficient clothes... oh, this is stupid. I don't know whether to take it seriously and get all Survivor on it, this topic, or whether to list precious objects, like what I'd rescue from a burning house, if I could rescue, say, my cats AND my journals, and my teapot, and my small electronic devices. Boring.
