I'm in a similar position re: work, but I'm refusing to do the Endless PD (I get 50,000 emails a day about it, and so much of it is just 101 bullshit. I've been doing Google Classroom for years), and I'm refusing to do live video teaching as most of my students won't be able to access it. Maybe that makes me lazy. We've been told to do all the things! But only 3 hours of work a week per class! And make sure it's equitable! And can be done on worksheets without internet access! (Note: I teach Grade 11 and 12.) And marks don't count, except when they do.

I'm watching less TV than I thought I would. Mainly baking shows. I'm reading slightly more, albeit not necessarily what I should be reading (like the Brumaire). Feeding myself and the cats, which I somehow manage to do under normal circumstances without much of a problem, seems to occupy a lot of time.

At the beginning I checked the numbers. Now our curve is flattening (yay? Nationwide, anyway. I don't believe our provincial numbers because our government is composed of lying liars who lie) and I'm doing a bit less doomscrolling.
