I love Xmas lights. I love them so much that I leave them on 24/7/365, or as many of the 365 as they last until burning out. Then I put up more. It is a sad, sad day for me when I run out of Xmas lights during the offseason and can find nowhere to renew my supply. Last night I put them up again, FINALLY. Here they are. Those of you who've never been in my living space can get some idea of one part of it. It's dark because I don't appreciate the flash, which washes out the Xmas lights.

yay! someone loves xmas lights as much as me! i totally hear you on having the things burn out and then not being able to find more. which reminds me, i need to go buy some before xmas, so that when my current string dies i won't be left out in the cold...

only i should call them fairy lights.

Like Green Fairy dishwashing liquid, or whatever they call it. No, I know, "fairy lights", strings of mini Xmas lights.

I'm glad there's a coterie of folk who like them. I feel vindicated.
